WISH TV & WTTS FM Partner with IIVA in New Campaign
On Monday, October 19 - local news station WISH TV, and local radio station WTTS FM kicked off a partnership campaign with Indiana Independent Venue Alliance to bring attention to the fight to save Indiana’s independent Venues. This localized campaign shares the NIVA (National Independent Venue Association) messaging of #SaveOurStages, and features two weeks of programming, focusing on interviews with some of Indiana’s most notable music venues across the state that have been affected by COVID-19, and how IIVA came to be amidst a pandemic.
“I had conversations with other owners and heard they were working at a grocery store or driving for Uber Eats and things like that, and that’s what prompted me to kind of get us all together originally to form this alliance. Because we’re stronger together.”
-Josh Baker, Indiana Independent Venue Alliance
Each morning, Paul Mendenhall will interview these venues, and each evening WISH TV will air their video coverage of these interviews. Listeners can tune in at 7:05AM with Paul, and viewers can watch at 10PM each evening.
