Indianapolis Bar Gives Back to IIVA During Esquire’s Best Bar Week

Esquire Magazine’s Best Bar Week has teamed up with Remy Martin to celebrate bars for their creativity and resilience during a time of a new bar scene, due to the pandemic. This week kicked off the celebrations with virtual episodes each day. During each virtual episode, they’ve partnered with different bartenders across the country to entertain viewers with conversations on cocktail culture and specialty tutorials. As part of the each episode, the featured bartenders picked a charity or cause to highlight and encourage viewers to donate. Indiana’s own, Damien Weems and Corey Ewing of Bar One Fourteen made the list of five featured virtual episodes, with the theme The Right Notes: A Pairing of Music and Cocktails.

As live music enthusiasts themselves, Daimien and Corey have chosen Indiana Independent Venue Association as their organization of choice, and encourage viewers to donate, so that we can continue pairing great music and great cocktails.
