IIVA Announces Recipients of Marquee Relief Fund Awards
Today, IIVA announced ten recipients of Marquee Relief Fund Grants. The initial round of MRF awards focused primarily on physical “brick & mortar” independent venues whose core business is centered on live music and entertainment. These awards are designated to assist live music venues experiencing catastrophic revenue loss amidst the ongoing pandemic, government-mandated closures and capacity restrictions.
The Marquee Relief Fund is funded by individual donations and the sale of Keep Indy Live merchandise. Future grants will be made available based on the health of this fund. To contribute to the MRF, please visit our donation page, purchase our merchandise, or support one of our upcoming fundraisers.
A total of ten applicants were selected by the review committee, each receiving a $2,500 microgrant. Award recipients include:
The Bluebird - Bloomington, IN: $2,500
The Hoosier Dome - Indianapolis, IN: $2,500
The Melody Inn - Indianapolis, IN: $2,500
Mike’s Dance Barn - Nashville, IN: $2,500

IIVA encourages any independent venue, promoter, or music business to become a member of the Indiana Independent Venue Alliance. Marquee Relief Fund grants are only available to members of the IIVA.
