IIVA Announces Third Round of MRF Grants, Granting Eleven Venues Aid
Wednesday, May 19th - Indiana Independent Venue Alliance has announced its third round of recipients of Marquee Relief Fund Grants. These grants are designated to assist live music and entertainment venues experiencing catastrophic revenue loss amidst the ongoing pandemic, government-mandated closures and capacity restrictions. With this round of awards, the IIVA has delivered over $70,000 in emergency relief funding to independent Indiana venues between October 2020 and May 2021.
Past recipients of the Marquee Relief Fund Grants were eligible to apply for this third round of grant programs, as independent venues still await federal aid via the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program. Though there were initially only ten micro-grants available for venues through the MRF program, only eleven venues applied for this third round of grant money. The IIVA Board Members voted to approve all eleven applicants as recipients of MRF grants for this round.
These eleven venues include:
Melody Inn - Indianapolis, IN
Blockhouse Bar - Bloomington, IN
Radio Radio - Indianapolis, IN
State Street Pub - Indianapolis, IN
Hoosier Dome - Indianapolis, IN
The Muse on Main - Fort Wayne, IN
